DIRECTIONS
My studio is in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn, at 168 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd avenues. I'm on the third floor, but there is a freight elevator (entrance at 125 8th St.) and a passenger elevator in the lobby of 168.
DRIVE
There are BQE (278) exits within ten minutes of the studio. Limited street parking along 7th and 8th streets. My loading dock is in the back of my building, at 125 8th Street. The freight elevator comes up right opposite my space. But of course, it can be a challenge to find parking in this busy commercial area; afternoons are usually better.
SUBWAY
The closest MTA stations are the 9th St. R and the 4Av-9St F/G. They are all within 7 minutes on foot.
BUS
The B37 and B103 buses stop along 3rd Avenue. While the B61 stops on 9th Street. More info.
